Growing up, I was not able to participate in many programs due to financial difficulties.  Unfortunately, till today my personal resources cannot fully extend to help every child or family who comes through our doors daily. With your support, we can continue to keep our promise to deliver on our steadfast mission – to provide opportunities for our youth to train and develop as basketball players in a safe and educational environment. We are determined to nurture our young adults. There is no greater joy than seeing the smiles on our children’s faces when we provide an avenue to meet new friends and learn new skills.

The World is Yours programs began 9 years ago, with my dedication and passion about two things… raising healthy, educated, successful children and playing the game of Basketball! 

Today, our non-profit organization is over 150 families strong and participate in the AAU Basketball Program. The World is Yours, including parents, coaches and sponsors is steadfast in our commitment to educate and encourage today’s adolescents who are destined to become tomorrow’s role models. Our program has successfully contributed to students receiving scholarships to colleges, Universities, private schools and other opportunities.

Our culturally and economically diverse roster includes kids from the entire state of New Jersey. The players are given the opportunity to travel and participate in highly competitive tournaments, as well as attend skill camps and customized practice sessions to strengthen their game.  To balance their commitment to basketball, we’ve developed tutorial programs to improve academic skills and we volunteer time in various community “give back” programs to inspire other youths, as well as have the teams participate in fundraising events to benefits families in need.
